Priscilla B. Adams would be honored to be remembered as one who mattered to those whose lives she touched in her 59 years of living this journey. She was a reserved and elegant person whose quiet strength and pervasive intellect rippled in encouraging, character building ways to her small, but intimate family, her students and the friends who knew her well. She lived out and could articulate her deep faith in God and the capacities of humankind. She sought meaning and contributed to goodness. In one of her published poems, she wrote: "I learned that real love is strong and stable, stern and demanding, and that I should distrust any other kind." She was as she spoke. She visits those of us who love her in the flowers and rain as she moves through the transformation of eternity
